In the name of the island’s terroir, a wine culture gathering to pay homage to the land, its people, and its way of life.

At a time when the world is becoming increasingly standardized and regulated, the true value of flavor is no longer just taste—but the story written by people, land, and time.
The brand-new thematic zone “Isle of Jiu” at the 2025 Taipei Wine & Spirits Festival will officially debut from November 14 to 17 at Nangang Exhibition Center.
“Isle of Jiu” is not a brand—it is a standpoint.
It gathers spirits created on islands, born from island philosophies, and crafted by people who dedicate their lives to brewing, farming, and creation.
Here, we do not pursue traffic or mass production;
we talk about details, terroir, craftsmanship, and warmth.

Island spirits are the translation of the land; the people behind the glass are the medium of culture.
Taiwan is an island full of flavor.
But flavor isn’t simply the result of ingredients—it is a language carved by mountain winds, humidity, solar terms, island memory, and human hands.
In recent years, the Isle of Jiu curatorial team has traveled across regions and met many small yet steadfast makers:
some tend tea trees in the mountains,
some cultivate rice with local farmers,
some distill flavor in laboratories,
and some cross oceans to bring the world’s most unique gins and sakes into conversation with the island.
They share a belief—
Flavor is culture.
Brewing is time’s reply.
And alcohol is the most romantic form of communication.
Isle of Jiu is a toast to the island, and to everyone who keeps going in their everyday lives.
We hope that those who step into Booth P523 are not only tasting drinks,
but exchanging stories, understanding the land, and carrying inspiration home.
Behind every bottle is a name, a warmth, sweat, and patience.
Every sip is a quiet sentence—
“This is honest, good liquor.”
Isle of Jiu is not a product showcase;
it is a perspective on life—
respecting terroir, trusting the process, and cherishing the authenticity of people and their craft.
A tribute to the island.
And to everyone who shines quietly in the everyday.
Showcase the brand and its spirit

🍃 S.C Lab — Taiwan
Founded in 2020 by Mikey and distiller Pouria, built upon the philosophy: “Tea is language; alcohol is the tool.”
Combining their own tea gardens with local agricultural products, they use innovative distillation techniques to create rare tea-based spirits and sparkling tea beverages.

🌾 TOMU — Taiwan
Returning to the roots of Taiwan’s indigenous alcohol culture, millet fermentation carries a primal, pure, gentle yet powerful character— preserving ancient memories of the island’s grain heritage in every drop.

🥃 Favorland — Taiwan
A local Yunlin distillery committed to 100% artisan brewing, 100% additive-free, 100% sourced from Taiwan.
Through brewing, they preserve the memory of the land while responding to the issue of agricultural surplus.

🧊 Sober Notes — Spain × Japan
A gin-focused curator, its name inspired by “notes written in clarity after sobering up.”
They import distinctive, high-quality gins from around the world—spirits that are not only drinks, but sparks of inspiration.

🌸 Harumirai — Japan
Curating across sake, umeshu, fruit wine, natural wine, beer, whisky, and shochu.
With sharp yet delicate taste, they bring each selected bottle into the refrigerators and dining tables of city neighborhoods.
